Redesign of the Unicef Australia donor newsletter.
Upon reading the past issues I realised that the content of the newsletters was both uplifting and rich in detail. The old newsletter, a simple brochure, lacked gravitas with regards to conveying this information and supporting the news it was communicating.
After learning about their donors further I found that they were highly engaged so I wanted to give them a “newsletter experience” that made them feel good too.
This solution was to take a tabloid size print and create a newspaper-like experience. This made the newsletter a more textural and grand experience when receiving it in the mail.
An underlying grid was designed to template all further publications to make the job more cost effective as further editions were rolled out.
This project was undertaken in my role as Creative Director and Owner of March One.
